Listening to the Prime Minister of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, address the United Nations prods me to comment upon the intentions of the leaders of Islam.<\/p>\n
A number of years ago, in the interest of being open minded about religions other than Christianity and some time before 9\/11, my son and I accepted an invitation to observe a group of Moslems in their devotions.\u00a0 It was an interesting experience.\u00a0 The gentlemen who were our hosts extended their hospitality to us to the point that they gave us a beautifully bound copy of the Holy Quran.<\/p>\n
After receiving such a gracious gift, I took time to study parts of the precious Book.\u00a0 My impression of Islam is that it is exceedingly male centered.\u00a0 At the supper that we attended there were no women present, whatsoever.\u00a0 When you observe the 5 times daily Islamic call to prayer, as we often see it on the tube, see if you ever see a woman present.\u00a0 In reading the Koran, it tells us that each man is the master of his household and that he may have four wives, who are commanded to be true to him, although he may take concubines.\u00a0 I guess the most shocking thing that I read in the Koran was not the charge to proselytize, nor the charge to either convert or, failing that, kill the enemies of Islam, nor the promise of the heavenly award of 72 virgins for those jihadists killed in the furtherance of Islam, but the passage in the Koran that characterizes Mary, mother of Jesus, as lying about the father of her unborn baby.\u00a0 It is possible that my impression of the Koran is mistaken, but you can read the same as I, so if you doubt what I read, please verify for yourself.\u00a0 The Sharia Law, as many among the Moslem faith interpret it, seems to confer upon the man, the husband, dictatorial, if not lethal, ascendancy in marital matters.\u00a0 This attitude was apparently held by the Iranian man who married my cousin’s Christian raised, but converted, daughter.\u00a0 When she did not please him, he apparently believed that he was justified in taking her life and attempting to take the life of her children.<\/p>\n
We Americans cannot understand Ahmadinejad.\u00a0 He seems hell bent upon not only destroying himself, but involving his entire country in a suicidal war with Israel and the “Great Satan”, the United States.\u00a0 We do not understand that, from a personal point of view, he is at peace with his actions … his position in Eternity is assured; he is a jihadist and therefore he and his god given hareem will meet Allah in paradise … he is perfectly willing to sacrifice himself and, if necessary, all his fellow countrymen in the struggle.\u00a0 He intends to kill us or convert us.<\/p>\n
We in the United States, imbued as we are in the principles of religious freedom, cannot conceive the thought processes of those who would impose a religious dictatorship, a Theocracy, upon our country.\u00a0 But that is exactly what the jihadists intend to do … what they believe Allah commands them to do.<\/p>\n
That is why I have included here the thoughts of a member of the Dutch Parliament given in a speech in New York City.<\/p>\n
In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: Who lost Europe?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n Here is the speech of Geert Wilders, Chairman, Party for Freedom, the Netherlands, at the Four Seasons, New York, introducing an Alliance of Patriots and announcing the Facing Jihad Conference in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n Dear friends,<\/p>\n Thank you very much for inviting me.<\/p>\n I come to America with a mission.\u00a0 All is not well in the old world.\u00a0 There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic.\u00a0 We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe.\u00a0 This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West.\u00a0 The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.<\/p>\n First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe.\u00a0 Then, I will say a few things about Islam.\u00a0 To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n The Europe you know is changing.<\/p>\n You have probably seen the landmarks.\u00a0 But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world.\u00a0 It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.<\/p>\n All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen.\u00a0 And if they are, they might regret it.\u00a0 This goes for the police as well.\u00a0 It’s the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children.\u00a0 Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead.\u00a0 With mosques on many street corners.\u00a0 The shops have signs you and I cannot read.\u00a0 You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity.\u00a0 These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics.\u00a0 These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe.\u00a0 These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.<\/p>\n There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe.\u00a0 With larger congregations than there are in churches.\u00a0 And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region.\u00a0 Clearly, the signal is: we rule.<\/p>\n Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille and Malmo in Sweden.\u00a0 In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim.\u00a0 Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods.\u00a0 Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.<\/p>\n In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.<\/p>\n Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils.\u00a0 In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims.\u00a0 Non-Muslim women routinely hear ‘whore, whore’.\u00a0 Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.<\/p>\n In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin.\u00a0 The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.<\/p>\n In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves.\u00a0 Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan.<\/p>\n Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run from the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II.\u00a0 French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel.\u00a0 I could go on forever with stories like this.\u00a0 Stories about Islamization.<\/p>\n A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe.\u00a0 San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now.\u00a0 Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.<\/p>\n Now these are just numbers.\u00a0 And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate.\u00a0 But there are few signs of that.\u00a0 The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France.\u00a0 One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks.\u00a0 The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate.\u00a0 Muslims demand what they call ‘respect’.\u00a0 And this is how we give them respect.\u00a0 We have Muslim official state holidays.<\/p>\n The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority.\u00a0 We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey.<\/p>\n Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots.\u00a0 Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus.\u00a0 I call the perpetrators ‘settlers’.\u00a0 Because that is what they are.\u00a0 They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam.\u00a0 Therefore, they are settlers.<\/p>\n Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries.\u00a0 Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.<\/p>\n The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet.\u00a0 His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized.\u00a0 Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem.\u00a0 But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages – at the same time.\u00a0 Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed.\u00a0 Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza.\u00a0 If it is good for Islam, it is good.\u00a0 If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.<\/p>\n Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion.\u00a0 Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins.\u00a0 But in its essence Islam is a political ideology.\u00a0 It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person.\u00a0 Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life.\u00a0 Islam means ‘submission’.\u00a0 Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia.\u00a0 If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.<\/p>\n Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam ‘the most retrograde force in the world’, and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.\u00a0 The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor.\u00a0 I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times.\u00a0 I support Israel.\u00a0 First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.<\/p>\n This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam’s territorial advance.\u00a0 Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia.\u00a0 Israel is simply in the way.\u00a0 The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.<\/p>\n The war against Israel is not a war against Israel.\u00a0 It is a war against the West.\u00a0 It is jihad.\u00a0 Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us.\u00a0 If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest.\u00a0 Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.<\/p>\n Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities.\u00a0 But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values.\u00a0 On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam.\u00a0 They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed.\u00a0 The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning.\u00a0 It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination.\u00a0 If they can get Israel, they can get everything.\u00a0 So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a ‘right-wing extremists’ or ‘racists’.\u00a0 In my country, the Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II.\u00a0 And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat.\u00a0 Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing.\u00a0 The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine.\u00a0 An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America – as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs.\u00a0 With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem.<\/p>\n Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts.\u00a0 My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives.\u00a0 All throughout Europe, American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish.\u00a0 My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians.\u00a0 We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe\u2019s children in the same state in which it was offered to us.\u00a0 We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams.\u00a0 Future generations would never forgive us.\u00a0 We cannot squander our liberties.\u00a0 We simply do not have the right to do so.<\/p>\n We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we
