\nCarter\u2019s Still in The Lead, But It\u2019s A Horserace<\/p>\n
In the race to be remembered by history as the president who most damaged America, Jimmy Carter still leads, but President Obama is running strong with over three years to go.\u00a0 It could be close.<\/p>\n
The score so far:
\nOn foreign affairs, Jimmy is still far ahead, and still running strong, long after he should have gone back to the peanut farm. He still kisses every dictator he can, and publicly apologizes around the world for a lot of things we ought to be proud of.\u00a0 BHO has just started his apologizing, but he\u2019s coming on strong.\u00a0 A few more world tours and we\u2019ll all be sorry we were ever born.\u00a0 In Jimmy\u2019s favor he managed to engineer the partial destruction of the CIA, which led to the ouster of the Shah of Iran, and facilitate the installation of one of the premier terror regimes in history.\u00a0 BHO learned enough from this particular history lesson, that he probably won\u2019t stop at just demoralizing the CIA, he\u2019s going for complete destruction, plus jail sentences for patriots that served their country in the most trying circumstances.\u00a0 Then he can buy new golf clubs for Kim (mentally) Il Jung.\u00a0 Jimmy handled terrorist pretty well too.\u00a0 When the hostages were taken from the embassy in Tehran Jimmy retaliated by refusing to buy oil from Iran.\u00a0 That hurt their feelings\u2026 Then he dashed the hopes of our young athletes by boycotting the Olympics. That\u2019ll show \u2018em.\u00a0 Note: he didn\u2019t boycott the Special Olympics,\u00a0 probably because he was a contender.\u00a0 Then, in a show of getting up on his hind legs, he dispatched a rescue operation.\u00a0 The only problem was; since he had already neutered the military,\u00a0 they didn\u2019t have the maintenance money, nor the training to pull it off.\u00a0 Eight men died in the desert and numerous planes were lost.\u00a0 Score one for Jimmy.<\/p>\n
Since all this went so well, Jimmy then bribed the dictator of Panama to take that pesky old canal off our hands.\u00a0 You know the one we built, bought and paid for, operated, and let the Panamanians make the profits.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t take long for the dictator to make even more money by selling both ends of it to the Chinese.\u00a0 What\u2019d BHO gong to do to eclipse that?\u00a0 Sign over the deed to the Fulda gap to the Russians?\u00a0 Give him time, he\u2019s still just at the apologizing, and kissing dictators stage.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile on the economic front, Jimmy\u2019s still looking pretty good.\u00a0 If you were making money on interest bearing accounts, 21% looked pretty rich until you realized that inflation was a very close second and you weren\u2019t really making any money.\u00a0 This led to the savings and loan debacle which the democrats blamed on under regulation. To make up for this master stroke of economic planning, Jimmy started the wheels in motion for the Community Reinvestment Act, which led to the collapse of the mortgage industry we are still paying for by forcing banks to loan money to people with no more ability to get a mortgage than a pulse.\u00a0 To BHO\u2019s credit, he\u2019s now buying banks, with our money, so they won\u2019t fail alone.\u00a0 They\u2019ll take us all with them.\u00a0 BHO\u2019s unemployment numbers are in the running but he\u2019s going to have to do some serious damage to keep up.\u00a0 I have confidence.\u00a0 Under the old adage that \u2018ya gotta dance with the one that brung ya\u2019 BHO has managed to buy out, with our money, 2\/3rds of the U.S. auto industry to keep it from falling in foreign hands.\u00a0 Like Chrysler did when Mercedes-Benz bought them out.\u00a0 We got it back when the Germans figured out that $50.00 an hour was a little much to pay somebody to screw on lug-nuts.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry, he\u2019s still got time, and besides, he owes the unions his presidency.\u00a0 Given a chance, he\u2019ll pay that one\u00a0 off too.<\/p>\n
On the energy front, Jimmy ginned up the Department of Energy.\u00a0 This stunning success employs 170,000 mental midgets that have, so far, raised the prices to historic highs, created gas lines, engineered \u2018designer gas\u2019, prevented domestic drilling, and have taken our self-sufficiency numbers from over 50% in the \u201870\u2019s to 24% today.\u00a0 It\u2019ll take nationalization to top this.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry, BHO\u2019s got it in him.\u00a0 His very own \u2018Screecher\u2019 of the House said the nasty ol\u2019 oil companies don\u2019t deserve to make a profit.\u00a0 This ought to make the investors sleep better at night.\u00a0 She got so excited by this that her facial expression almost changed.<\/p>\n
BHO\u2019s claim to fame is currently health care.\u00a0 Jimmy tried this a little, and got laughed at out loud.\u00a0 When Hillary tried this, her basic\u00a0 goodness and integrity surfaced.\u00a0 Now, being such an astute scholar of history, BHO has decided that, in the words of a Russian communist I met last year, \u201cWe just didn\u2019t have enough time, or the right leaders\u2026\u201d\u00a0 Didn\u2019t work then, won\u2019t work now.<\/p>\n
This particular race has just begun and it\u2019ll be hard to predict.\u00a0 Just when you think BHO is closing the gap, Jimmy wanders off from the Old Presidents Home and manages to hate America anew.\u00a0 Like herpes, he\u2019s the gift that keeps on giving.\u00a0 In order to win this ignominious race, BHO will probably have to lose at least one war, totally trash the economy, and leave a legacy that\u2019ll last for generations.\u00a0 I think he\u2019s mentally, morally, and philosophically equipped for all of it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
