Headline: DEMOCRATS KILL 30 IN SCHOOL AND MALL SHOOTINGS.<\/p>\n
Farfetched?\u00a0 No more so than the knee-jerk reaction among liberals and Democrats, blaming the presence of guns in our society for the atrocities in Portland, Oregon and Newtown, Connecticut.<\/p>\n
Given their age, the prevailing political climate in Oregon and Connecticut, and the fact that they obviously suffer from at least a touch of madness, it would be safe to assume that Jacob Tyler Roberts, the Clackamas, Oregon mall shooter, and Adam Lanza, the Newtown, Connecticut elementary school shooter, were registered Democrats.\u00a0 Another reason to suspect that they were registered Democrats is that, if either of those young men had been registered Republicans, or members of the National Rifle Association, they would have been immediately identified as such by the mainstream media.\u00a0 It is always possible to squeeze a bit of truth from the mainstream media by searching for \u201cthe dog that didn\u2019t bark.\u201d<\/p>\n
But to tie their political affiliation to their horrendous crimes makes at least as much sense as the reaction of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.\u00a0 In a December 16 statement, Bloomberg called on Barack Obama to take the lead in imposing stricter gun-control laws in the U.S.\u00a0 In an appearance on NBC\u2019s Meet the Press<\/em>, he is quoted as saying, \u201cIt\u2019s time for the president, I think, to stand up and lead and tell this country what we should do, not go to Congress and say what you guys want to do.\u00a0 This should be his No. 1 agenda.\u201d<\/p>\n Obama to \u201ctake the lead?\u201d\u00a0 Now there\u2019s a radical suggestion.\u00a0 Our experience of the past four years tells us that Barack Obama couldn\u2019t lead his way out of a burning one-hole outhouse with a smoke detector and a roadmap.<\/p>\n Bloomberg suggests that, if Obama does not act to impose stricter gun control regulations, an estimated 48,000 Americans will die next year because of illegally possessed guns.\u00a0 He said, \u201cWe kill people in schools.\u00a0 We kill them in hospitals.\u00a0 We kill them in religious organizations.\u00a0 We kill them when they\u2019re young.\u00a0 We kill them when they\u2019re old.\u00a0 We\u2019ve just got to stop this.\u201d<\/p>\n Yes, Mr. Mayor, and we kill them with automobiles driven by incompetent drivers as well.\u00a0 In fact, in calendar year 2011, some 32,370 Americans were killed in automobile-related incidents, many of those death caused by incompetent drivers who should never have been given drivers licenses by state officials.\u00a0 And abortions\u2026 which you favor?\u00a0 The number of deaths by induced abortions has held steady at just over 1.1 million per year since 2000.\u00a0 In New York State alone, some 120,000 induced abortions were performed in 2009.<\/p>\n He concluded by saying, \u201cThere is this myth that the NRA is so powerful.\u00a0 The public, when you do the polls, they want to stop this carnage, and if 20 kids isn\u2019t enough to convince them, I don\u2019t know what will be.\u00a0 If Congress were to act, if Congress wasn\u2019t so afraid of the NRA \u2013 I think I can show you that they have no reason to be \u2013 but if they were to stand up and do what was right for the American public, we\u2019d all be a lot better off,\u201d<\/p>\n It is the typical reaction we\u2019ve come to expect from liberals when, in fact, the root cause of such mass shootings lies closer to the doorstep of liberals and Democrats because of the cheapening and the liberalization of the American culture\u2026 which they are largely responsible for\u2026 than it does to the reverence for 2nd<\/sup> Amendment rights among conservatives and Republicans.<\/p>\n But there are other explanations equally as insane.\u00a0 For example, a report published by Iran\u2019s Press TV<\/em> blames the Newtown school shooting on the Israelis.\u00a0 Yep!\u00a0 You heard that right\u2026 the Israelis did it.\u00a0 The report claims that, \u201cThis is exactly what Israel did in Norway; the political party that voted sanctions against Israel was retaliated against by a \u2018lone gunman\u2019 who killed 77 children.\u00a0 This is what Israel always does, they go after the children. \u00a0It is what they do in Gaza every day. \u00a0It is what was done in Norway. \u00a0It is what happened at Sandy Hook. \u00a0Nobody buys the \u2018lone gunman\u2019 story anymore, not with the Gabby Giffords\u2019 shooting, not with the Aurora \u2018Batman\u2019 shooting,\u2019 certainly not with Breivik (the Norwegian shooter), and certainly not in Connecticut.\u201d<\/p>\n Then, on the opposite end of the spectrum, there is the reaction of Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the National Rifle Association.\u00a0 In a press conference on Friday, December 21, LaPierre argued that, \u201cThe only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.\u201d<\/p>\n LaPierre called for a national school security plan, funded by taxpayers, that would put an armed security guard in every one of our 100,000 public schools.\u00a0 In support of that outlandish idea he said, \u201cWill you at least admit it\u2019s possible that… 26 innocent lives might have been spared that day,\u201d if the shooter had encountered \u201cqualified armed security?\u201d<\/p>\n So where does it all end?\u00a0 With at least 100,000 armed security guards patrolling our public schools, at least 65,000 TSA employees screwing up air travel, and with armed guards stationed inside each of the 893,200 restaurants in the U.S., we will be well on our way to solving our unemployment problem by turning everyone into security guards.\u00a0 It is sheer madness.\u00a0 As my wife suggests, maybe we should all just lie down, curl up in a fetal position, and suck our thumbs.\u00a0 We\u2019re turning our country into one large prison.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the American people are just as confused as Bloomberg, LaPierre, and the Iranian Mullahs.\u00a0 Their opinions are all over the map.<\/p>\n A December 19 Gallup Poll showed that barely 50% of those polled felt that increasing police presence at schools would be very effective; 50% felt that increased spending on mental health screening and treatment would be very effective; and 47% insisted that decreasing the amount of gun violence on TV and in movies and video games would help.<\/p>\n Forty-two percent felt that banning the sale of semi-automatic guns and assault weapons would help, 34% thought it would be a good idea to have least one school official at every school carry a gun; 27% felt that asking news organizations to refuse to publish the names of mass shooters would be effective, and 36% said that banning semi-automatic and assault guns would not be effective.<\/p>\n There are many reasons why we should blame the Sandy Hook school shootings, the Clackamas mall shootings, the Aurora, Colorado theater shootings and the Columbine high school shootings on leftists.\u00a0 Howard Galganov had it exactly right when he wrote in his blog on December 17:<\/p>\n \u201cIt didn\u2019t happen because of the so-called gun culture, or because of the poor security at the school.\u00a0 It happened because of the modern LEFTIST culture that has removed all semblances of personal responsibility and respect.<\/p>\n \u201cIt happened because of the Hollywood and television types who lecture the Conservatives on how people should live, while they make FORTUNES producing absolute FILTH in the movies and on television programs.<\/p>\n \u201cIt happened because of reality television shows that demean humanity.\u00a0 And shows that make people laugh at the pain and humiliation of others.<\/p>\n \u201cIt happened because multi-millionaire computer game producers create UGLY digital scenarios that poison young minds with abject and gratuitous violence.<\/p>\n \u201cIt happened because the school system doesn\u2019t teach values, and promotes the idea that everything goes.\u00a0 And that all people are equal regardless of the truth.\u00a0 And that no one ever fails.<\/p>\n \u201cIt happened because LEFTISTS won\u2019t allow concerned and loving parents to discipline their children, or raise their children the way they want to.<\/p>\n \u201cIt happened because far too many Liberals spend far too much time and effort ridiculing and attacking people who want to live by the lessons of the Bible and the Torah.<\/p>\n \u201cIn truth\u2026 this and other horrible acts of violence happen because our society, from our entertainment industry, to schools, to the media, and our government have created the social and cultural foundation that is eating away at our countries like a cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n He concluded by saying, \u201cI want my old country values back\u2026 when we stood in school when an adult entered the room.\u00a0 When we were really disciplined for bad behavior.\u00a0 When we were measured by our successes and failures.\u00a0 When not everyone had to waste years of his or her life in college studying basket weaving instead of taking a trade course, or going to work right after finishing high school.\u00a0 When your mom was a woman and your dad was a man.\u00a0 And when there weren\u2019t vulgar parades extolling the \u201cvirtues\u201d of being gay.<\/p>\n Firmly \u201cpinning the tail on the donkey,\u201d Galganov tells us, \u201cIf you want to stop the sickness\u2026 IT\u2019S TIME TO STOP THE LEFT.\u201d<\/p>\n John Adams reminded us that the Constitution he helped to write was meant for a moral people, and it was fit to govern none other.\u00a0 Events of recent years, in which liberals and Democrats have demonstrated a complete lack of respect for constitutional principles and mandates, are symbolic of the truth of Adams\u2019 admonition.\u00a0 We are no longer a moral people and respect for property rights, for the rule of law, and for constitutional imperatives are the first casualties in our decline.\u00a0 It\u2019s time that all right-thinking people reaffirm their commitment to what it was that made our country the greatest of all countries of the world.\u00a0 It\u2019s time to stop the left.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Headline: DEMOCRATS KILL 30 IN SCHOOL AND MALL SHOOTINGS.
