On November 4, 1979, a crazed mob of Iranian \u201cstudents\u201d attacked and seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.\u00a0 Fifty-two American diplomats were taken hostage and held for 444 days.\u00a0 On April 18<\/a>, 1983<\/a>, a van packed with 400 pounds of explosives drove into the U.S. Embassy compound in Beirut.\u00a0 Sixty-three people were killed.\u00a0 Six months later, a truck loaded with six tons of TNT crashed into the U.S. Marine Barracks at Beirut International Airport<\/a>.\u00a0 Two hundred forty-one Americans were killed.\u00a0 In December 1983, a truck loaded with explosives was detonated at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait. \u00a0Six people were killed. \u00a0And on September 20, 1984, a truck bomb exploded outside the U.S. Embassy annex in Aukar, northeast of Beirut, killing 24 people.<\/p>\n

The terrorism quickly spread toEurope.\u00a0 In April 1985 a bomb exploded inside aMadridrestaurant frequented by American soldiers.\u00a0 In August 1985, 22 Americans were killed when a car bomb was exploded inside the Rhein-Main Air Base, near Frankfurt, Germany.\u00a0 On October 7, 1985, the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro was attacked.\u00a0 On April 5, 1986 the La Belle Discotheque inWest Berlinwas bombed.\u00a0 And on December 21, 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was blown up overLockerbie,Scotland, killing 259.<\/p>\n

In January 1993 the terrorism reached American shores when two CIA employees were killed outside CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia.\u00a0 A month later, terrorists exploded a bomb in an underground garage at the World Trade Center in New York, killing six and injuring 1,000.<\/p>\n

In November 1995, a car bomb exploded inside the U.S. military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killing seven.\u00a0 On June 25, 1996, the Khobar Towers military barracks in Dhahran was attacked, killing 20 and injuring 500.\u00a0 On August 7, 1998, the U.S. Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, were bombed, killing 224 people.\u00a0 On October 12, 2000, the USS Cole was attacked inYemen, killing 17U.S.sailors.\u00a0 And on September 11, 2001, al Qaeda staged its \u201cPearl Harbor\u201d attack on America, killing more than 3,000.<\/p>\n

Now, after nearly four years of weak-kneed Obama tinkering in foreign affairs, we find our U.S. ambassador in Libya sodomized and murdered, along with three of his aides, while embassies in half a dozen other Islamic capitals are attacked and set ablaze.<\/p>\n

The enemy who has been attacking us for nearly thirty years is unlike any we have ever faced before. \u00a0He is motivated not by political ideals or dreams of empire; he is driven by the greatest insanity of all: the fires of religious zealotry.\u00a0 He has no concern for human life; to the contrary, he welcomes death.\u00a0 He wears no uniform on a battlefield; he lives and works among us as a friend and neighbor.\u00a0 He has no concern for the safety of women or children; he hides behind the skirts of women and stores his weapons in schools and mosques.\u00a0 He cannot be bargained with because his religion instructs him to lie to non-Muslims.\u00a0 And he cannot be defeated in a war of attrition because he has a population of nearly 1.5 billion from which to recruit suicide bombers.<\/p>\n

WillEuropehelp to defeat this monstrous enemy?\u00a0 No, the men of Europe have no stomach for war and they appear ready to turn their wives, their children, and their elderly over to the Islamo-fascists without so much as a whimper.\u00a0 It appears that only the United States and Israel will be left to defend western civilization.\u00a0 But Israel depends on the military and economic shield of the U.S., so how dependable is that shield so long as Barack Obama occupies the Oval Office?<\/p>\n

The leaders of the Democratic Party have signaled that, given control of Congress and the U.S. military, they will act exactly like the leaders of Western Europe.\u00a0 They will conveniently forget all of the attacks that have occurred prior to 9\/11.\u00a0 They will wash their hands of the blood of all those American dead and they will continue to blame all of Islam\u2019s hatred and all of their blood lust on George W. Bush and\/or Israel.\u00a0 They will insist that, had Bush not poked a stick into the Islamic hornet\u2019s nest in Afghanistan and Iraq, Muslims the world over would be kneeling quietly on their prayer rugs, giving thanks to Allah for peace with the rest of the world.<\/p>\n

But such is not the case.\u00a0 In a January 2012 article titled, \u201cWe are not allies, we are still the infidels,\u201d <\/em>Major General Jerry Curry (USA, Ret.) put the West\u2019s long term relationship with Islam in perspective.\u00a0 While attending the Infantry Officer Advanced Course at Ft. Benning, Georgia, Gen. Curry was partnered with a military officer from an Arab country.\u00a0 They studied together, got to know each other\u2019s families, and generally enjoyed each other\u2019s company.\u00a0 And once he and his Arab partner became friends, an important question came to mind.\u00a0 Without hesitation, he said, \u201cI have a question to ask you, but you may find it a little impertinent, or, perhaps, offensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Arab replied, \u201cThat\u2019s quite alright.\u00a0 We know each other well enough to be honest with each other. \u00a0So go ahead and ask your question.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell,\u201d the general began, \u201cEach time you Arabs start a war with Israel, they beat your socks off. \u00a0Why don\u2019t you learn your lesson and quit making war on them?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Arab barely paused to think before replying.\u00a0 He said, \u201cMy dear friend, you are absolutely right. \u00a0Each time we attack the Israelis they whip our asses. \u00a0But have you noticed that, with each loss, we get better? \u00a0We get whipped not as badly as in the war before.\u201d\u00a0 Then, with a faraway look in his eyes, he pounded the table with his fist and said, \u201cSometime in the next thousand years we will win!\u201d<\/p>\n

Yes, Muslims are convinced that \u201csometime in the next thousand years\u201d they will defeat, not only the Israelis, but all of the Christian world as well.\u00a0 They know that, by immigrating to all countries of the West, they will slowly but surely out-populate us.\u00a0 They will not assimilate; they will not adopt our western culture.\u00a0 Instead, they will demand that they be allowed to be a nation\u00a0 within a nation, living not under our laws, but under Sharia law.<\/p>\n

Islam is not a just a religion; it is far more than that.\u00a0 As Dr. Peter Hammond writes in his book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat, \u201c<\/em>Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult.\u00a0 In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.\u00a0 Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components.\u00a0 The religious component is a beard for all of the other components… Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.\u00a0 When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nowhere is that more evident than at the Democratic National Committee (DNC), a focal point for Islamic infiltration in the United States.\u00a0 The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) boasts that the DNC has \u201ctargeted outreach to American Muslims.\u201d\u00a0 The result?\u00a0\u00a0 The number of Muslim delegates to the Democratic National Convention has quadrupled during the Obama years, while the Jewish chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, presided over the writing of a 2012 party platform that purposely avoided all references to God and failed to recognize Jerusalem as Israel\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

In every state and in every city of our nation, we find Muslims making non-Western demands on our Western culture, while Obama and his party leaders expect us to be so gullible as to believe that the words \u201cGod\u201d and \u201cJerusalem\u201d were dropped from their party platform by \u201caccident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Can we allow Islamists to succeed?\u00a0 Absolutely not.\u00a0 The first step in stopping Islam in its tracks is to embargo the establishment of mosques throughout the Christian world.\u00a0 In a speech before the European Parliament on July 9, 2012, Law and Freedom Foundation attorney, Gavin Boby,\u00a0 claimed success in every one of their 13 legal challenges to the establishment of new mosques and madrassas.\u00a0 In each instance their challenges were based on unlawful commands<\/em> contained in Islam\u2019s guiding document, the Quran, which contains no fewer than three commands to kill non-Muslims and 14 commands to enslave non-Muslims.\u00a0 According to Boby, the Foundation was not successful by \u201csoft-peddling\u201d Islam, by sucking up to the politically correct who peddle the hogwash, the false hope, that so-called \u201cmoderate\u201d Muslims will one day rule Islam.\u00a0 As Boby describes it, \u201cwinning\u201d means Islam must go the way of fascism and communism.<\/p>\n

The day must come when Muslims find their lives in the West so uncomfortable that they will choose to repatriate to whatever country their forebears came from.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Unless we in the West begin immediately to bring that about, American liberals will one day stand at the graves of our children and grandchildren, brutally murdered by Islamic jihadists, loudly debating the First Amendment and Fourth Amendment rights of their murderers.<\/p>\n

If nothing else, the events of recent days should provide us with indisputable evidence that co-existence between Islam and the civilized world is not a viable alternative.\u00a0 The first goal of the Romney administration must be to begin the process of isolating the Islamic world by placing all majority Muslim nations under punishing political, economic, and diplomatic sanctions.\u00a0 All non-essential travel to and from Islamic capitals must be curtailed, their diplomats must be sent home, and immigration quotas for Muslim nations must be eliminated. \u00a0We don\u2019t need them.<\/p>\n

Regrettably, we are unlikely to ever have the cooperation of the political left in doing what is necessary to save our western culture.\u00a0 It is they who make our destiny a very uncertain one.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
